Leynar Gómez Prendas Cultural activist and cultural manager, film and theater actor. He has worked in productions in Italy, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Ecuador, among others. Among the films that emphasize extensive participation in theater and which mark Costa Rican film are Puerto Padre, by Gustavo Fallas, 2013; Presos, by Esteban Ramírez, 2015; The Awakening of the Ants, by Antonella Sudassassi and Netflix’s international series Narcos, 2015-2017 He has received awards in different theater plays such as the X Theater Cycle University of Beira Interior, Covilhã Portugal, March 2006; National Festival of Grano de Oro Theater Costa Rica 2009; Best monologue award of the Gold Grain Festival 2009; Best actor award at the Golden Grain Festival 2009; Second Place with the monologue Que varas Mae, Atacama Chile theater festival Copiapó, January, 2011; International Prize of the Ibero-American cinema Fénix, to better acting ensemble, with the Narcos de Netflix series, Mexico 2017. He currently has the feature film Hacia la Batalla, a French-Colombian production. and the feature film Submersible, production of Colombia and Ecuador
