Daniel Domínguez is a journalist, writer, literary/film critic and university professor. His career as a journalist spans over 28 years. He works for the Panamanian newspaper La Prensa as editor of the column “Vivir Mas”, and blogger at “Cine y más”. He has written articles on Panamanian theatre productions for Revista Diógenes of the University of California; the Latin American Theatre Review, center of Latin American studies at Kansas University, and the Cuban Magazine Casa de las Américas. He is a board member of the Panamanian Academy of Arts and Film, and has also taken part as member of the jury in the International Film Festival of Huelva, Spain - José María Forqué award; the International Short Film Festival of Hayah, Panama; and the Fénix Awards of Ibero American Film. He has given media coverage to film festivals in Berlin, Tribeca, Huelva, among others.
