Director, editor and documentalist, she is a teacher of Documentary Production at the Catholic University of Uruguay. Her filmography includes Hit (2008) and La Flor de la Vida (2018), which earned her the special jury prize at É Tudo Verdade/It´s all True, the audience award at the Malaga Festival and best documentary film by the critics asociation in Uruguay. This film, which premiered at the International Documentary Film Festival  Amesterdam, tells of a love story in a 50 year marriage, and it screened for 11 weeks in cinemas in Uruguay. Her previous film, "Hit", also in collaboration with Abend, is an intimate reflection about the power of music to change history. In journalism, Loeff collaboradtes with AP, CNN, Al Jazeera and Storyhunter. She was producer and scriptwriter for a piece by National Geographic about local devotions, she worked as an editor for AFP and for the Television Nacional de Uruguay. As an independent filmmaker, she has worked with NGOs, including the United Nations and the Interamerican Development Bank. She has a Master´s Degree in Latin American Studies from NYU (Fullbright Scholar), and has a bachelor degree in Communications from the Universidad Católica. Sin 2011 she teaches at the University of Montevideo.
