Rojo

Synopsis: 
In the mid-seventies, a strange man arrives in a quiet provincial city. In a restaurant, without any apparent reason, he starts insulting Claudio, a renowned lawyer. The community supports the lawyer and the stranger is humiliated and thrown out of the place. Later that night the stranger, who is determined to wreak vengeance, intercepts Claudio and his wife Susana. The lawyer then takes a path of no return involving death, secrets and silences.

Benjamin Naishtat

Benjamin Naishtat was born in Buenos Aires. He began studying cinema at Buenos Aires University and continued to pursue his studies at le Fresnoy – National Contemporary Art Studio, in France. His filmography includes the shorts El Juego (2010), Historia del mal (2011); and the features History of fear (2014), The Movement (2015), winner of Best Argentinian Film at Mar del Plata Film Festival. Rojo (2018) was awarded the Jury Prize and the Silver Seashell at San Sebastian.
