Synopsis: 
When four-year-old Kun meets his new baby sister, his world is turned upside down. Kun becomes increasingly jealous of baby Mirai... until one day he storms off into the garden, where he encounters strange guests from the past and future including his teenage sister Mirai. Together, Kun and Mirai go on a journey through time and space, uncovering their family’s incredible story.

Mamoru Hosoda

Mamoru Hosoda was born in Japan. He graduated from Kanazawa College of Art and began his career as an animator working for Toei Animation Co, Ltd. In 2011 he created his own animation studio, Studio Chizu, together with producer Yuichiro Saito. His filmography includes The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006), Summer Wars (2009), Wolf Children (2012), and The Boy & The Beast (2015). Mirai (2018) is his latest feature.
